Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute

The Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) is a premier research organization under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). It is dedicated to research, training, and extension activities in marine fisheries, aquaculture, and marine ecosystem management. Established in 1947, CMFRI has been at the forefront of research in various aspects of marine fisheries and aquaculture in India.
